their increase and the cotton mentioned in the bill: And that the executions and judgements at Law mentioned in the Bill be forever enjoined as to said slaves and cotton: And that on Complainants said next friend giving bond payable to defendant Gunn in the Sum of five hundred Dollars, conditioned to pay over to him the overplus of the price of the house and carriage charged as levied on, after deducting the sum of Eighty Dollars with interest thereon from this decree, in satisfaction of the value of the horse converted by defendant Betts, and for which a decree is rendered in favor of complainant - And further it is ordered that defendant Gunn + Betts pay the cost of the suit.

In Chancery at Clayton Fall Term 1846 - When the hearing of defendants exceptions to the testimony of complainant it is ordered that all said exceptions be overruled - There was no evidence as to the identity between the Commissioner + defendant Reese -

And that a writ of error issued in said cause follows, to wit,

Because in the Record and prceedings + also in teh rendition of a decree in our said Court of Chancery for said Districy at the Extra Nov. Term thereof A.D. 1846 between Maria Betts by her next friend Solon Wellburn. Complainant and Elisha Betts, George W. Gunn, Samuel Harrison, Samuel N. Brown, Thomas A. Brannon, T.S. Jackson + Augustus Reese Adams of Alex Walker, deceased, are Defendants, as it is said manifest error hath intervened great damage of the said George W. Gunn, as by his complaint we are informed- We are willing that the error, if any there be,

should in due manner be corrected, and full of + speedy justice be done to the partied aforesaid, and therefore in this behalf do command you, that if a be therein rendered, that you send to us fully and distinctly under your seal the record and proceedings with all things concerning the same with this writ so that we may have them at the next term of one Supreme Court to be held in and for said State on the first Monday in June next. We may cause further to be done thereupon for correcting that error what of might according to the Laws of the State ought to be done. To the said Maria Betts or to Misses Bedford + Pugh her soliciters - Take notice that the said cause, in which at the Extra Nov. Term A.D. 1846 of the Chancery Court of said County a decree was rendered in favor of said Complainant and against said defendants has been taken by said George W. Gunn to the Supreme Court of said seats by writ-of-error returnable to the next term thereof to be holden at Montgomery on the first Monday in June next -
