Sent to Huntsville. The negro from Huntsville, whose arrest here we mentioned several days ago, turns out to be the former body servant of Hon. Alex. H. Stephens. He is a very black but extremely intelligent negro, and speaks of his former master in a very affectionate manner. He gives his name as Pierce, and says that Mr. Stephens raised him from a small boy, and was uniformly kind to him from his youth up. He was with Mr. Stephens at Richmond, and made mention of the [trip?] of that gentleman to Fortress Monroe. He deserted his master soon after the surrender, and has followed a dissolute life ever since. He was arrested here by order of a telegraphic dispatch from Huntsville, which stated that a reward of $100 was out for him. A pair of handcuffs were placed upon him, and he was started to that city on the train of yesterday morning, in the special keeping of Captain Murphy, of the police.
