My Dear old
friend I rec your letter
a few days ago and was
very glad to hear from you
I wish you would right me
and tell me where Tom
Bagby is at as he is my
son and I want him to come and
live with.

I am very anxious
to get my family all to
gether or as much so as possible. I am here and
doing very well as I can
get $2.50 per day for work
Little Rock is a very fast place
and I think is a much better
place than the Georgia Country
