Dear Brother,

Harry has gone home
with the buggy and I am waiting
for you. We are looking for Judge
Harris today but I doubt if he
comes. Nothing we’ve done with
Cary yesterday. Judge Thomas did
not come up and no message
was sent by anyone for Cary.
There was no whipping of any
one yesterday as far as I can
learn. All I suppose is now sus-
pended on the holding of court.
I am strongly inclined to the impression
that William was the biggest
knave of the crowd if he was not
the instigator of all those ?
in the combination. But we
