in the county of Newlondon in the colony of concticutt in New Eng

[Jo]siah Cleaveland his heirs execut[o]rs Administrators and evry of the

[?]ies unto the sd Josiah Cleaveland and to his heirs & assignes for ever
[s?]everall tracts, or parcells of land hereafter by these presents mentio[?]
[?]acts or parcells of kand are lying and being on the west side of the sd [?]
[Qu?]enabaug and bounded as followeth, the first parcell contayne[n]g one hun[?]
[mo?]re or less lying westerly from his now dwelling house and is adjoyneing to a parc[?]
land s[ai]d cleaveland purchased of Cal[i?] Bushnell of Norwich, begining att the south
[?]st corner of sd land att a black oake tree marked, and from thence runing a streigh[t]
[?]e westerly one hundred twenty and seven rodds to a white oake tree marked EC
[fr?]om thence a streight line northerly, one hundred twenty and [ei?]ght rodds to a white
[oa?]ke tree tree, from thence run[n]ing easterly sixty eight rodds to a heap of stones
[wh]ich is a bounderie of the land s[ai]d cleaveland bought of s[ai]d Bushnell, and from
[the]nce easterly by the s[ai]d land sixty [r]odds to a white oake tree, as also anothre
[pa?]rcell conteyneing seventy six acres, more or less, lying northwesterly from [hi?]
[?] dwelling house, and is lying and being on both sides of a [Branch?] called [?]ud[?]

[?] one rodds to a white oake tree marked I:C: from thence run[n]ing southerly to
[ho?]rnbeam tree by a spring forty eight rodds / . from thence southeasterly to a
oake tree marked fifty rodds which is the first station / . as also twenty six
adjoyneing to the first mentioned parcell, the north east corner a blackho[?]

all the appurtences and priveledges thereunto belonging, and all my
title interest claime and demand of, in, and to the same, and every
and parcell therof To have and to hold all the afforementione[d]
parcells of Land lying being abutted and bounded as affores[ai]d, with all
[?]ler theire Rights and appurtenances, from me the s[ai]d oeneco and from my
[u]nto the s[ai]d Josiah Cleaveland and t[o] his heirs and assignes for ever, with all the
[?]r, trees, woods, under woods, sto[?]es, mines mineralls, waters, water courses
[?]ers profits privilidges acomodations, priviledges and apurtenances whats[oever?]
[t]he s[ai]d bargained premises belonging, and the s[ai]d oeneco doth covenan[t]
[ag?]ree to and with the s[ai]d Josiah Cleaveland his heirs, that att the time [of?]
[barga?]ine and sale, he is the true and lawfull owner of the above bargained
[prem?]ises, and that he will warrant a[nd?] defend the same from and against all just cl[?]
ever, and that the s[ai]d Josiah Cleaveland by force and vertue of these presents [?]
