1679. To all people to whom these p[rese]nts shall come great Tom alias Kesquumspaumin of Nausett Indyan, in the Gov’ment
of New Plimouth in New England sendeth greet and know ye that I the said Tom for and in consideration
of Three pounds in currant pay to me in hand paid by Richard Bourne of Sanditch in the Gov’ment aforesaid ~
Genth the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and my self therew[i]th fully satisfied contented and paid and
thereof and of ev[er]y part and parcell thereof do Acquitt exonerate and discharge him the said Richard Bourn his heires
executors and administrators for ever by these p[rese]nts have freely and absolutely given granted bargained sold
enfeoffed and confirmed and by these p[rese]nts do give grant bargaine sell enfeoffe & confirm unto him the said ~
Richard Bourn his heires and assigns for ever all that my parcell of land conteyning Six acres be it more or less
scituate lying & being in Manamett Old Feild in the constablerick of Sanditch aforesd and is bounded easterly and
southerly by the marsh & River weasterly by ye lands of other Indyans and northly by ye com[m]ons or woods together w[i]th all the proffitts,
priviledges and appurt[ena]nces to the said bargained parcell of land belonging or any wise appteyning to have and
to hold all the said bargained parcell of land and appurtnces unto him the said Richard Bourn his heires and Assigns
and to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Richard Bourn his heires and Assigns for ever And I the
said Tom do for my self my heires executors & Administrators covenant & grant to and w[i]th the said Richard
Bourn his heires and Assigns that at ye time of ensealing & deliv[er]y of these p[rese]nts I have full power just right &
lawfull authority to grant & confirm all ye said bargained p[re]mises in & by these p[rese]nts mentioned or intended to be
granted & confirmed in manner & form aforesaid according to ye true intent & meaning of these p[rese]nts and the same
will warrant and for ever defend against all persons whatsoever fares by or under me the said Tom, mine heires or
Assigns or any of us afaryming any gift, use, title or interest into the said bargained promises or any part or parcell
thereof in willingnesse whereof I the said Tom have hereunto sett my hand and seale this Twenty & fifth day
of February domo Iann one thousand six hundred seventy & nine.
