The second word is “point work” not print work. Point work is a type of threading and construction. The term split refers to dents in a reed. In the case the system is 100 x splits to a beer or porter
Rabbit's note here is correct, but the note is showing elsewhere as 'paint work' rather than 'point work'. How does the spelling get changed from one place to another for the same note?
