Amendment that any brother
violating the above shall not be
committed except upon a charge [presented] [page cut off]
in the lodge and a fair trail in
the [illegible] prescribed by Sec 7 Art 6
of the constitution.

The following substitute was
offered that: Any member of this
Lodge knowing of his own knowledge
or otherwise having information of
a member having violated his pledge
and failing to prefer charges against
such member for said violation with
three weeks after becoming presssed of
such knowledge or information shall
be fined one dollar or may be
suspeneded or expelled at the option
of the Lodge.

On motion previous question
was called for.

The question on the Amendment
as amended put and last.

Broth Newland's time for
resigning the pledge being declared
out a motion was offered to expell
him.

Reading of the communication
between The Secretary pro tem and
Brother Newland called for and
read;

A Ballot was had and Broth
Newland declared expelled.

On motion the office of
F.S. was declared vacant.
