An Ordinance
by the said City Council, one or more Flagmen
whos duty it shall be to warn all
persons of the approach of trains at
said crossings and to see to and keep
all, such crossings far from standing trains(,)
locomotives and other obstructions;
Article 2, Any Railroad Company, person or Corporation
who shall fail to comply with Article one
of this ordinance shall be liable to a
penalty of fifteen dollars per day to the
City of Nacogdoches, for each days failure
to comply with this ordinance; The [illegible]
to be recovered by suit in any [illegible] of
this state having jurisdiction of [illegible];
Article 3, That this ordinance take effect from and
after its passage and approval.
Passed this 6th day of December A.D 1910;

On motion by Alderman Kiley duly seconded
by Alderman Floyd and carried, the
above ordinance was adopted an(d) read.
[illegible] adjourned the Council
requesting a fire hydrant on the Corner
of North Fredonia and Houston Streets with
a 4 inch [illegible] line [illegible] on unto North Street
Main.
On motion the water works [illegible] was instructed
to immediately install the hydrant and line
as requested by Mr [illegible].
A communication from the Mayor requesting a
reduction of sakaries of some City employees and
the [illegible] of the services of others
has read by the secretary but no action
was taken on account of the absence of
Alderman [illegible]
On motion the body adjourned [illegible] [illegible]
