FEB 7 1911 Con.
on North and Hospital Streets provided the
City would build a curb where the
said sidewalks were put in.
On motion by Alderman McKinney duly seconded
by Alderman Floyd and carried, the Street
Commissioner was instructed to confer with
Mr Schmidt and have curbs constructed
where such sidewalks were put in.

The resignation of Alderman F. B. Kiley was
read by the Secretary and on motion
the same was accepted totake effect Apl 1st
1911.

A communication from Dr. Smith with reference
to filthy condition of Street in front of
Spradley Bros Store and lot and stalls on
North Fredonia St adjoining residence of
J. H Cox was read by the Sec.

The mayor reported that these places
had been cleaned up and were no longer
a menace to public health.

Mr Tomek appeared before the body with
a subscription of $164.00 toward claying that
portion of the Spanish Bluff road lying in City
limits not already clayed provided the City
woulld do the work and pay the balance.

Motion by Alderman Blount duly seconded
by Alderman Floyd carried that Mr Tomeks
proposition be accepted and the City clay
the said road at once.

The Fredonia Street bridge proposition was
taken up and on motion the matter was
referred to the City Attorney and Street
Commissioner with instructions to take
the matter up with the N & S.E. RyCo and
properly adjust same.

A petition to the Mayor, requesting an election
as to whether or not the City of Nacogdoches shall
adopt the Commission form of government, was
read by the Secretary.

Annual report of the Nacogdoches Light and
Power Co was read by the Secretary and
on motion the same was sreferred to the
City Attorney for approval.

The following accounts, to the
amount of $784.24 were approved
