Jacob Pallison Graves (1838-1903) is the third and last child of JWG with his first wife Catharine Boxley Graves. He married Mary James Monroe in 1960. They had 9 children: Clifton Monroe Graves, John Williams Graves, Sue Crews (Graves) Fisher; Rosa Lillian (Graves) Cockrille, Amelia Graves, Fannie James (Graves) Hill; Kathryn Boxley Graves, Sallie Watt (Graves) Mauck, and Ramanlia Graves. Jacob served in the 53rd Virginia Infantry during the Civil War. He was taken prisoner at Five Forks April 1, 1865.
