First child of Fannie and James Fitzgerald. JWG gives his name as Jeremiah Pallison Fitzgerald, but all genealogical records report the name as Jeremiah Graves Fitzgerald. He would die at age 6 in 1857, just two years after James died. Both James and son Jeremiah are buried in the Fitzgerald family cemetery at the home of Capt. Fitzgerald, Stonewold, near Mount Airy VA. The home was inherited by Capt. Fitzgerald's daughter, Elizabeth, who married John Thurston Stone (Elizabeth's first cousin, nephew of Capt. Fitzgerald). The home remains in the family.
