Edmond Fitzgerald

Father-in-law of Fannie White (Graves) Fitzgerald. Fannie was married to James Morgan Fitzgerald (1817-1855). Their first son, Jeremiah Graves Fitzgerald died at age 6 in 1857. Their second son, Edmond Boxley Fitzgerald (1854-1936), built his home "Sunnyside" west of Gretna, VA, which still stands today and remains within the Fitzgerald family. Note that "Boxley" was the maiden name of Fannie's mother, JWG's first wife, Catharine Spiller Boxley.
