1848 Sept 1st pulling fodder Mr Myers work
on yard all this week, 6 days -

2 Pulling fodder & Tying up Do

3rd Sunday a fine dry day ——

4th Fine weather for fodder,
pulling at home & stony point& tying up

5 Finished pulling to day 12 oclock
worming & succoring & topingTobacco & tying
up fodder etc
Lilas child a Girl born about 11 oclock

6 Worming succoring & toping Tobacco. Tying
up fodder

7 same work this day - clear & cool

8 worming & succoring & toping —

9 same work - 10 Sunday a fine day

11th Finished toping & succoring this morning
cut & stacked up all the tops at home
this day - 12th cutting & stacking tops

12th at mountain field first & then at
stony point weather coolnights& clear

13th Finished cutting Tops & stacking fodder

14. Stilling & cutting Tobacco in biggroundnew

15. Finished cutting over by new ground &
stilling to day 550 stacks cutt & made
15 Gallons Brandy — weather warm
Sent 9 Bushels wheat to Glenns Mill for
flour about the 1st Sept 1848—

16th Raining this morning, sent Henry to
Doct Whites Mill, Large Log for Railing
1 Babl corn sent - Fed shoemaking
Planted Peach Kernels in Garden
