1852 June 15th Plowing & weeding Corn.
Dewing & suning Tobacco ——
Finished Shearing Our Sheep this day
Weeding part of Our Fresh ground Tobacco

17th Finished weeding corn this morning Finished
prizing Hhd Second quality Tobacco –

18 went to Mr Wm Tuckers & in the evening
come up a fine Rain we replanted our
Tobacco all over saturday fine time for it
Weather warm & growing, Mrs smith very sick smith

19th Raining a little to day - Thursday we
Harrowed the flat Land again, began to
weed Tobacco in fresh ground on 2 handsThursday

21st Expect to start my waggon to Lynchg
in the morning Hhd seconds
Began a little to day to Lay buy [by] corn
Planted Peas & sewed Same weeding fresh
ground Tobacco Sent 7 Bushels Corn
to Capt Gilberts mill to day &
could not get it & have to send again

22nd my waggon started to Lynchg this morning
with our Hhd of Tobacco & some for Mrs Lewis Brans.
weeding down fresh ground Tobacco, I went
to Mrs McCullocks this day —

24th my waggon got back in 3 days weeding
down Tobacco in Lot on Branch & lot & replanted
over this day I hope for the last time this year

25. Laying buy corn in fresh ground next to
orchard. 3 plows, Lila plowing lot Tobacco
cutting Rye, wednesday & to day, clear & cool
Expect to Begin to Cut Lot wheat to day –
planted cucumbers for Pickling & watermellonsetc

26th Cutting wheat in Lot back Garden & by
prize Barn, clear & cool nights, weeding down
Tobacco in Lots - & bushing new ground —

1st july 1982 weeding lot Tobacco Laying by corn
on Branch & next to orchard. seasonable weather

22nd [2nd] Thrashing Rye Plowing in fresh ground toward point laying bystony
weeding Lot Hill next to corn field ———
