6th Sent to Millers Mill Cart & waggon 2 Logs
1 for weather boarding 1 for Hhd staves 1 Turn
wheat & corn for Chumbly & 3 of corn for me
Lost in meal nearly ½ Bus. Carried another
Hart Log in evening & brot back the one
we carried in morning done sawed & Hhd
Staves too. at work in new ground to day
getting Garden Post, Halling out wood etc.

7th Carried another Large Hart Log to Millers
mill
this morning all thats in the new
fresh ground balance going to raking at
new ground, Jordan halling Garden
Post, etc - & then Halling out manure balance
raking & burnt trash heaps last night - this day
set out another square Greens finished planting
corn Planted cotton Peas watermellons simblings
etc etc, fine weather at this time,

8th Scattering manure this morning, Plowing it
in, & Halling out manure; we will begin to colter
fresh ground on John Branch I reckon to day
Raking leaves in new ground done big side
began to colter in fresh ground — —

9 went to Meeting pretty day —

10th Hilling at Johns fresh ground & coltering
Jordan Just began to colter at new mountain springground

11th Raining in morning & went to striping & finished at night,- very windy & turned cool

12th Jordan coltering at new ground, Henry gone
to day to Faris Mill 5 Bus. wheat 4 Bushel
Corn for meal & flour, carrd 1 Log to be saw
=ed into Garden Palings. Hester carrd to Jack
