2nd Finished working Tobacco, sewed Turnips

3rd Choping in Corn & getting up apples
4 Beeting apples, & halled from stoney p[o]int
this Sent Buck to Mill 4 Bags 2 Bus in each 1 overseermorning choping in corn, overseer Henry
& Jordan gone up to Cedar Hill to Dig
Cider trough, clear Hot weather, Turned
Horses in Stoney pint
5 worked on Road to day balance
choping in corn, Beet Cider in evening
Fair Hot & Dry weather every thing
wants Rain, Corn begins to Fade —
agreed with Coalsman Chumbly for
another year to live at Cedar Hill
& work in plantation or out, am to give
him $140 to be paid when crop sold 1860
Find him 300 lb Pork & 4 Bushels Corn & 1 Bbl
wheat & same agreement for 1859 as 1858
as pr agreement signed 6 augt 1858.
6th Halled up Shock Oats from mountain
Beeting cider this morning & then Toping
worming & succoring Tobacco
7th Toped over Tobacco wormed & succored over
We had a fine shower Rain last night

9th Choping in corn worming & succoring over

Sent Henry up to Cedar Hill to restack
Oats to Keeping them from spoiling & to finish

10th went to meeting some of our folks went
12th Mr Chumbly & Henry has been at work on
Thilling Room by Corn House balance worming
succoring over Tobacco fair & Dry Mr Crews buried
