Brumfield	July 23, 1857 - July 30, 1857 1857 Thursday 23rd We are Plowing & Hilling up lot tobacco in morning & then Halling up wheat waggon & cart & all hands etc showering weather ^{nannie gone to Mrs H} finished hilling up new ground Tobacco — Friday 24th My nannie coming home this morning " " nearly done halling up wheat will commence halling up Oats to day. working tobacco in Lot this morning. Sent 4 Bus. corn & 4½ wheat to Eat to yates.
