Raining this morning -- weather moderate 19th Rained all night last night striping Tobacco Rained nearly all day to day — 20th I went to CH Halled leaves done up cross fence by fresh ground & Rolled some Logs cleaned out Stables in the morning 21 Coltering old field & Hilling next to whiteheads 22. I went to Aspen Grove, Sent Claiborne to Roll Logs at Kelleys Henry & Harry finished Sewing Oats Sewed 31½ Bushels here & 64½ Bus at aspen Grove, clem & Smith Hilling to day I went to see Mrs Hunts who has been sick about a week.
