1875 Sept 19th Rained last night nearly or quite
all night fine for Turnips Cabbage etc quite
cool this morning, Ed firing Tobacco tho It
needs the fire very much If it is Sunday -

20. Wrote to Sallie for Josep W W. & sent
Editor of Planter Co stop it,

21st Clear pretty morning & cool Hauled 1 Load leaves this morning
Edmond & Jimmy put up my Stack Blade fodder
last night tolerable good stack weather cool
Pulling & saving fodder this side of branch in
the field Joining Mr Lewis I went up to
Mr Farthings & Carried Sole Leather for Miss
Lakes Shoes Cool day Fanny W Moses here

22. Hauled Load wood this morning, Edmd
nearly done pulling fodder got some
flat land to put quite cool went to Mt Airy
yesterday Fanny W. & me went to Edmd Tuckers
& Martins to day. H. W. H & M. W. here to day

23rd Trying to finish pulling fodder to day
put up 9 Stacks last night fine weather for
Saving fodder we have not had any caught
in rain yet cool nights, little frost So they Say

24th. Not quite done pulling fodder, will attend
to fodder to day Robert Tucker Carries 1 Hart
Log to the Saw Millers Mill & will bring some
Plank for me & this evening he carries a Log for his
Father & bring another Load of Plank for me
clear beautiful morning & quite cool

25. Equal day & night I have delivered to C
Miller T J Lovelace's Bond got from Barksdale, Elisha
for Land & also let Mr Miller have T J. Lovelaces order
to me to help Satisfy the Hunt Debt as that debt
is Settled I let the Said Miller have that order
pr Rect in Pocket Book formerly belonging to mother Hunt
with Statement of Lovelaces Bond, I let him have
Ed Cuting my Tobacco & all of his to day & will
finish fine weather about fodder & he will tye up
