1875 Dec 1 I went to See Lowry Saw him
Robt Waller he burning plant Bed -

2 Killed my other Hogs this morning coldquite
Edmd Dews shelling corn to go to Mill

3rd Decr Rained Hailed Snowed & freezed last night
Finished Salted our Pork last night all done

4 Ill trees loaded with ice
cold cloudy day Ice nearly all

5 gone last night cloudy for 3 or 4 days
5 Raining nearly the blessed Sunday

6 still cloudy Ice gone sent Jimmie to Yates Mill
with nearly 3 Bushels corn for meal ½ Bushel wheat
out of Box for me to eat to be ground like corn
& 1 Bushel corn for chop for me Ed Sent corn
& 2 Bushel wheat for himself flour - weather
more moderate Mr Wright here to day & shaved me

7 Cloudy & foggy & has been for 4 days weather moderate -
Ed gone to clean out road Jimmy to P O -
began to rain 9 or 10 oclock & rained nearly all
have not scarcely seen the Sun for 4 days

8 Rained last night still cloudy a little & foggy
& cleared of about 10 oclock Edmd malling wood
& cutting Jimmie gone to mill after meal etc etc etc
weather moderate Mr Wooding had my waggon
last thursday was to send it home friday but did come
till to day Wednesday Did not my wheat flour
nor Edmonds flour this morning

9th cleared off Thank God & Turned cooler cutting
gathering stacks for cows, Ed went to Mr Templetons
to help him Kill Hogs this morning Sun Shining
my hand has been very sore for 10 or 12 days - I have
engaged with Peter Adams to have with me next year &
make a Crop & help do any thing for me when not
engaged on religious duties as pr agreement Hauled
up Some Stalks to day 2 Loads cloudy & like
for for falling weather - I am off the bargain
I made with Ed Wright and he has notcomplyed
