A good day and warm for
the time of the year. Ben worked on
Owens house this morning and went
to Cedar Forest this evening.
Josie ironed to day and got dinner.

Johnson Reynolds sent us some
oysters. We had them for dinner
and supper. I stewed pumpkins
boiled meat and made scrapple
boiled beets.

Then went to Marvins a little
while. Ben had a letter from
John to day heard from Jim.
He has bin complaining with
rheumatism. I do hope he may
get well soon.

Franklin got slippers
to day. He was so proud of
them.
