Saturday, July 13, 1918

Had a shower to day.
Need rain yet. Ben and Paul
and Owen plowed tobacco
this morning. This evening
Ben helped Marvin fix
in his pump. To night
Ben has gone to Strait
Stone to the lodge.

Tom Edmons came this evening
to tell us good by.

He has got to go to camp
Tuesday. I feel so sorry for
him. Lizzie and Earl Bennett
come to see us. Tonight
Paul and Earl has gone to see
some of the young folks.

Mr Mayhew gave an ice cream
supper. We were invited did not
go.
