A beautiful day. There was
a killing frost last night.
We all staid at home until
after twelve. Ben and Josie and Edna
and Franklin and Paul went to
Mr Powers. Henry and I went
to Marvins. All at home a gain
to night. Ben and Owen and Paul
want to start to Gretna in the
morning at three oclock.

Alma Bennett was at Gretna
this evening. She talked with
Carrie Smith. I was very glad
that she did. I am always glad
to hear from them.
