Sunday, April 27, 1919

A clear cool day. Frost this
morning. Ben come home from
Strait Stone a bout twelve oclock
last night. Jim Emerson come with
him and staid all night and until
some time this evening.

Ben brough ice cream with him
more than Josie and I could eat.
Jim Brumfield and Ben staid
at home all day. Josie and the
children and I went to Marvins.

Josie got most of the dinner.
We had a chicken for dinner.
The olde hog eat one of my
hens this morning. I am very
sorry.

Heard to day that Julia
Fergersons baby
has bin very
sick. I do hope she will soon
be well.
