A very colde day. Partly
cloudy. Jim & Ben hauled in
some feed then stripped tobacco
for Mr Owen. Tonight they
went to Marvins to help
tye tobacco. Josie ironed some
this morning. We both had a hand
in getting dinner. We cooked
cabbage & beans and made
a crum pudding. I have set
by the fire all that I well
could. The children went
to school. Heard today that
Dorothy Worsham has scarlet
fever. Mrs Edmons is
very sick. Her daughter
Mrs Hutcherson went to
stay with her. I hope
they all will soon be well.
