Wednesday January 12, 1921

A cloudy day but no weather
yet. The wind is blowing to
night. Jim and Ben stripped
tobacco
today. Mr Owen helped.
The children went to school.
Josie pieced on her quilt.

I done as near nothing as
I could. I heard today
that Mrs Jack Kellie is very
sick. I hope she may get
well. There is a lot of sickness
a bought. I have not seen
Carrie this week. She is
bad off with colde. Josie and
Carrie talk over the phone.
