A rainy day. The boys
stripped tobacco. The children
went to school. They were
late at school. Mabel is
better today. I am so glad
Josie and I do a little
cookin and [Nanes?]
Mabel is so cross.

I have not bin anywher
or heard any thing new
so I have not got anything
to write. The weather is
bad and soon the roads
will be bad so that people
can't run a car. Henry &
Edna are studying their
lessons yet.
