Saturday, May 6, 1922

A day that did not rain.
The boys hauled wood
most of the day. Henry went
to the store for beef and soda.
He went to Jessie Hutcherson
for oil. There is a play
at the school house tonight.
[ho?] one went from here
[orvin?]. Harvey was here this
evening for some [salit?}
Alvin Farmer was with him
on a car. Josie has worked
all day cleaning up and making
beds. she baked a nice cake
this morning. I have bin up
most of the day but did
not do much of anything.
I hived some bees this evening.
I hope they will stay here and work.
