Wednesday, August 30, 1922

A good day. The men cut
tobacco all day. They are
hoisting some now & at
night. No one come today.
Josie suffered most of
the day. I got snaps
& butter beans for
denner. I went and
gathered peas and got
some sweet potatoes
this evening. I went to
the water mellon
patch for the first time
since it was planted.
Hatties children come
for apples. Say they will
dry some. They may.
