Friday, September 8, 1922

Well another day has gone.
Ben & Henry went to Gretna
to carrie Marvin Smiths rake
& mower. They have just got
home nine at night. Jim worked
on a hog lot most of the day.
Nellie helped him move a
little tobacco this morning. Nellie
& Edna milked last night &
this morning & tonight. I got
dinner. Daisy ironed some.
She washed for her self
this evening. Mollie Reynols
come to see Josie this
evening. Johnson come after
her. Josie has suffered
a lot today. Nellie got a
letter from Eylin tonight.
I am glad that she got [it].
