A good day. Ben sent
John Ward to Renan this
morning for a matress
and shavings. Jim cleaned
up a brier patch and
then went to John
Hutchersons to a barn
raising. This morning
Nellie got dinner. She
made the children some
pies. I went to see
[Mildred Ferguson?].
She is sick. Julia
is worried a most to death
about her.
I come by Mr. Bookers
and bought a few
potatoes for the
children.
Well Ben has come
to go to bed.
