A good day. We had
a shower of rain this
evening. They got ready
to water their plant
beds then did not because
it rained. Some they picked
weeds until night.
I went with Mrs booker
to see Mrs Elder[?].
She has a fine little
boy. Henry caught
a perch and an elle
this evening. I skined
the eel with Ednas
help.
I wrote and sent
Nellie a letter this
evening. I hope to
hear from carrie soon.
