A good day. Jim sowed
some peas. Ben finished
cutting Mr Bookers wheat
and cut on his this
evening. Mr Adkins
and Mrs Adkins come. I
was glad to see them.
Mr. Adkins was hunting
tobacco plants. The boys
think that they can
let him have some.
Mrs Booker and the children
come a while.
I cooked cabbage
today. The first that we
have had.
