A good day. The children
went to school. Jo Edmons[?]
brought Edna and Franklin
home on his car. Kate
Harvey is here tonight.
I am glad that she
come. The men folks
has worked on their
tobacco all day and til
bed time tonight.
Lelia Ward brought
me a piece of beef
today. We certainly
did enjoy it.
I made Mabel an
apron today. She has
bin as sweet as could [sic]
most of the time today.
She has a very bad
colde.
Henry brought a rooster
from Kates last evening.
I am glad of him.
