A cloudy windy day.
The men stripped tobacco
most of the day. Ben carried
Mr. Elders calf home
this morning. He got to the
corn and eat all that he
could. Hope it won't
hurt him. The children
went to school. Edna
and Franklin come
home complaining of
tooth ache and head
ache. I hope they may
be better by morning.
Mabel has a bad cough.
Ben has gone to the
school house to night
to a meeting of the
committee. They want
to make some way
to pay for the school
house. I hope that they
may. I made Mabel a
dress today.
