Monday, November 12, 1923

A cloudy day. Rain
tonight. The men stripped
tobacco all day. Would of
loaded the wagon if it
had bin a good evening.
Mildred Power went
with Edna to school.
Elizabeth stayed with
Mabel. I was glad that
she did stay. I cooked
beef and cabbage for
dinner. Lawson Power
come for the children
at dark tonight.
He eat supper with us.
I hope they got home
ok. We will miss them.
Hope that they my may come
a gain when the weather
is warm so that
Maybel [sic] can go where she
pleases. The children
here are at the dining
room playing rook.
