Monday, November 19, 1923

A good day. The men worked
on tobacco all day. Ben
went to Altavista and
carried some tobacco.
It solde low. He was not
pleased with the sales.
Thomas Callans died
this morning from a lick
that Will Dickerson hit
him. I am very sorry
that it happened.
This evening after
Henry come home from
school all the children
and I went to Strait
Stone dealing. I could
not get any land.
Little Avis Emerson is
staying with Edna to
night. Ben has gone
to Mayhews tonight.
We are bringing all
the water from the
spring up in the field.
