Dear Mother:
In the past few days I have recieved [sic] four letters from you. So glad to hear all is well. Nice to hear you recieved [sic] such a nice letter from Capt. Inglis.??? Hold on to the picture he sent. I have no place for it and would not want to take a chance on losing it. If you do go to Baltimore, do drop in and see him. He is one of the finest men I have ever known and I am sure he would be glad to see you.
Today I recieved [sic] a notice from the Union Central Life Insurance Co. I thought we had it arranged with them to send them to you and you would take care of it while I was away. I am enclosing the notice. Please get them straightened out and explain to them that it is difficult for me to handle being many thousands of miles from the States. If they can't understand let me know and I'll try to set them right on things.

There is little news from my end as usual. Heard from Marian, Anna and John Poje. Nothing new with any of them. Marian says she has a feeling I'll be home soon again. What a mind she's got. Must think we only work half a year at a time out here.
Tell Anna I am recieving [sic] her mail regularly and I'll try to write her in the next few days. Hope Pop is well and behaving himself. I'll be having a bit more time to myself now so I'll be able to write more often.
Must say good night now. Take care of yourself and don't worry. I am safe and will be so for quite some time.
Your loving son Georgie
