Dear Mother:
This wil be short for there is nothing new but have to write to keep you from worrying. Before I forget it again, I did recieve your Valentine money order. Also have recieved birthday cards from both you and "Pop". Thanks a million. In regards to the writing paper. If they want to know when I left the States to check up and find out were it is tell them to "blow it out their nose." Even if I can I am not giving them that sort of information. Tell them to either replace it or forget it. I can get along without them now and for a long time to come.
Have not had any mail for awhile but expect it will be catching up with me in a few days.

So glad to hear all is going well at home. Would like to ask a favor of you. Would you please try and get a gold star for my Purple Heart ribbon. The one I have is in bad shape. I tryed many places while I was home but could not get any. If you can not find any see in a jeweler can't make one. It should be a quarter of an inch across. If you get one let me know before you send it.
Must close now will try to finish a letter to John Poje that I started in April. I am well and happy. No need to worry about me. I'll write again soon.
Give my love to all.
Your loving son Georgie
