Dear Mother:

Had three letters from you today. Was sure glad to get them as I did not get any mail the last few days. I'll sign the card you enclosed and send it to you in the letter. Got the money order today. Thanks a million.

So glad we finally got straightened out on my not coming home or being in the States. But it seems to me it took an awfully long time for you to get the letters. Please let me know just how long my letters take these days.

Even with these letters from you it is hard to fill this letter up with anything interesting. I am sorry but the girls in the office are wrong That was not me they saw in the newsreel. I would have let you know if I had had my picture taken. Now about that radio

By the time you get this you will no doubt have seen Marion. I hope you two get out and have a little fun. So Malcolm is home again. Must expect to stay in the States or get out if he is getting married. Oh, well, some people get all the breaks.
