Dear Mother:

I have had two letters from you since I last wrote and the radio script arrived today. It was very interesting but very far from the truth in a lot of places. Did not us real names in a lot of cases either. But then they usually have to change most things for a show like that anyway. While we are talking about the ship and Dr. Mac Art. That buddy of mine on 57th St. worked with the Dr when he was on board. You seemed to think when you wrote your last letter that he was a Marine, I guess I forgot to say he was a sailor but you know that by now if you have been to see him.

Had a letter from Dad today. He said he is going to Europe. Said he had some things for me and would like to send them home if was alright. I don't know what they are but I am going

to tell him to go ahead and send them along. Oh, yes, I recieved the gold star you sent and it came through alright. Thank you.

I guess by this time you have already seen Marion. As I said before you were expecting her a week too soon. Hope you two find something interesting to do.

Since you just sent a copy of the radio script I'll keep it here. You'll take care of the original won't you. I am enclosing the letter I recieved from Capt. Ingles. Hold on to it too please.

Not much to say for myself this time. I am still taking things easy and feel fine. Give my best to everyone. I'll write again in a day or two. Hope to have more news then.

Your loving son Georgie.
