Dear Mother:

I have not written in the last few days for there is little to write about. Tomorrow will be Grandpop's birthday so you are no doubt quite busy now. I hope he get my care on time. I could not get one to a grandfather so I had to take what I could get. I hope he and all his children have a wonderful time on that day.

I am so happy to hear Marion was in to see you. Our mail has been a bit messed up of late and I have not heard from her in about two weeks. You don't know how glad I am that she will be stationed near home. I hope you two get to see a lot of each other.

sending some pictures for quite a while, well this Wednesday I will get the best of them and send them all along very soon.

There is very little else to say now. I have the duty today and must go and inspect the watch now so I'll have to close. I am feeling fine. Give my best to Pop and all the rest.
