Dear Mother:

I have had two letters from you since I last wrote but neither seem to help me with material for this letter. No doubt it will be very uninteresting. I am still taking things easy. The pictures are well on their way, you should have them by now. I have one or two for Anna. I hope to get them of in a day or two.

Say when you see the Boffa's please tell Tony to drop me a line. I don't think he knows yet just what happened. He should be able to explain to you just what goes on out here and why we just can't get up and transfer back to the States when we feel like we should.

I don't know how the people in the States feel about it but

to us things look pretty good. Of course we can't say yet just when it will be over. Never can be sure until it really is over. But it should not, I don't think be much over a year more. As for when I'll get transfered, it is impossible to say now. I have absolutely no idea. It depends on so many things now. But don't worry I'll take one the very first time I can get it.

I'll close for now. Hope to have something more interesting to write about soon. Give my best to everyone. Extra special for Pop. I'll write every chance I get.
