Dear Mother:
I recieved a letter from you yesterday. The first one in over two weeks. It wa dated Aug 14th but post marked the 17th. I am so glad to hear you feel releived and don't worry anymore. I wrote you before about the Marine Corps having a point system. As yet we still don't know how many points we will need but I believe it will be about 85. As it stands now we would still have to wait to be relieved here before we can even start back. So it may be a little while before I get back and out and we must be patient. It will all work out and we'll get back to normal as soon as possible.
Had a couple of nice letters today. One from Anna and one from Mike. Please thank them.
