trunk back from Lakeport. it
will cost me $200. The man
that started that rumor of an explosion
has put me to an immense
Amount of annoyance and trouble
and Expense. I think I shall
get it tomorrow shure sure

Tell Susie I wish I could get
her down a box of the big ferns
that are every where [everywhere] about here
and there are some very pretty wild
flowers which I am sure mother
would like for her garden.
Two in particular -- a wild rose
and a tiger lily. The latter is
very handsome. I am very
much obliged to you for raising
me that $20 and regret very much
the trouble I Know it must have
put you to, to get it, but I'll
have some money in two or three
weeks now. Goodbye, love to
mother and Susie
