Q. 457 Are you ready to answer any of the
questions submitted to you at the previous
examinations?

A. I am ready to answer one of the questions
submitted at the last examination. The ques=
=tion is: "In whose name did the stock trans=
=ferred to Watson, Campbell and Hunt
from Bates and Irwin stand at the time
of the consolidation of August 22nd, 1870?"

Q. 452 What is your answer to that question?

A. The stock transferred from Bates and
Irwin to W. S. Watson July 8, 1864 stood, at
the time of the consolidation, after several
transfers, in the name of C. H. Cummings.
That transferred to James Campbell stood
in the name of James Campbell at the time
of the consolidation.
