shares transferred to Friend stood in his
name at the time of the consolidation; and
the nine shares transferred to Joseph M.
Frey stood in his name at the time of the
consolidation.
Q. 463 Does not this list — Exhibit "A" — pur=
=port to show the names of the parties
in whom the stock stood at the time
of the consolidation?
A. It does not.
Q. 464 I believe that was part of the question
propounded at the previous meeting, was it not?
A. I do not recollect whether that was part
of the question or not; but at the examin=
=ation when this list was produced, it was
stated that I had not had time to get any
further answers to that question than sim=
=ply to give a list of the original owners
of stock, and the member of shares owned
by each.
Q. 465 Can you now furnish a statement
of the stock of the Central Pacific Rail=
=road Company of California standing in
the name of Charles Crocker on the 22nd
