=dum of stock standing in the name of
C. P. Huntington, Agent: Will you state for
whom he was agent?

A. He was agent of the company.

Q. 427 Was that stock subscribed by C. P. Huntington as agent?

A. It was not.

Q. 428 From who was that transferred to
him as such agent?

A. It was issued to him directly, as
agent of the company.

Q. 429 For what purpose?

A. For the purpose of negotiating a sale,
and paying for material, vc., in New York.

Q. 430 Exhibit "A" shows 3256 shares issued
to C. P. Huntington as agent: Were certif=
=icates for that stock issued?

A. Yes sir; certificates were issued
for that stock.

Q. 431 Will your books show what value
the company received for that stock?

A. They will.

Q.432 And to whom it has been transferred?

A. Yes sir: the books will show to
whom it has been transferred, if it
has ever been transferred at all.
