The general's name looks like Colton but I'm not absolutely sure. Should be verified before this letter is archived.
Same is true for National Gold Bank, which I categorized as a "Place" only because it was clearly not "People." Maybe there's a better category label available, such as "Business" or "Subject."
Thank you for transcribing these pages. We have confirmed Colton is the general's name. Only categorizes "People" and "Places." These are easily identified whereas business names change over time and can not be easily verified.
